Smitalay has collaborated with a lot of other institutions and individuals.

• Maya Darpan: Smitalay collaborated with Ileana Citaristi and staged this dance ballet based on selected 'ruchas' from the Upanishads. Smitalay group has performed this ballet all over India & Italy.
• Collaborated with Ms. Jeroo Chawda for an Odissi dance presentation, for the Femina Miss India Contest – 1999, Pune.

Smitalay takes pride in presenting appropriate programs for different events.

• NUSI: A dance ballet depicting 100 years of the National Union of Seamen's of India, for their centenary celebration.
• Agni: A dance ballet as the inaugural piece on the occasion of Kalnirnay Sanman Sandhya (a Filmfare Awards type function for Marathi cinema & stage) on a huge space of a four level stage.
• Celebrate Bandra : For  “Mai Marathi” event in Celebrate Bandra festival, a performance was specially created based on poems by the Marathi poet, late Vasant Bapat.
